Rainbow Obsidian is a glazed, silica-rich volcanic rock with a formless structure and a hardness of 5 to 5.5. It is black with layers of iridescent color and is named after the famous ancient Roman, Obsius. Metaphysically, Rainbow Obsidian helps one take the downward journey to unexpected Light.
